As promised, we’ve officially removed all Google Ads from Anglotopia.net, creating a cleaner, more enjoyable browsing experience for everyone. It’s been wonderful seeing the response from everyone.

This achievement represents a pivotal moment in our journey—one made possible by each and every one of our wonderful members. Your commitment to supporting quality British content has transformed Anglotopia into the Google ad-free experience we’ve always envisioned.

The Next Chapter: Londontopia.net

With this success under our belt, we’re setting our sights on a new goal: removing ads from our sister site, Londontopia.net!

Our new membership target is 300 members—just 100 more passionate Anglophiles and London enthusiasts to join our growing community (well, actually 88, as today we’re at 212 members). When we reach this milestone, we’ll extend the ad-free experience to Londontopia.net, creating a seamless browsing experience across both of our flagship websites.

If you’re not familiar with Londontopia, we launched it a few years after Anglotopia to be a central place to publish articles just about London. It’s built a passionate following of people who love London, and we have over 2,000 articles in the archive there, creating a wonderful repository of history, culture, and travel information on the world’s greatest city.

Now, you can help make browsing that site even better by helping to remove the Google Ads.
