South Asia Now: Fashion. Art. Design. at V&A East

V&A East Museum, the newest addition to the V&A family, presents South Asia Now: Fashion. Art. Design., a landmark exhibition exploring the extraordinary creativity, innovation and global influence emerging from South Asia today. Bringing together more than 200 works across art, fashion, architecture and design, it is the first major international exhibition to showcase the breadth of creativity rooted in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Moving beyond familiar narratives of heritage and craft, it presents South Asia as one of the world’s most dynamic centres of contemporary creativity, through rare loans, new commissions and works shown in the UK for the first time. Only the second exhibition ever staged at V&A East Museum.
