About This Event
Join a guide for a tour around the very best bits of London Museum Docklands, covering the history of London’s docks, the East End and the people who lived and worked here for over two centuries. Walking through the historic warehouse that holds the museum, discover how unused marshland was transformed into the towering Canary Wharf, and hear about the grim realities of dock work, the ‘sailortowns’, and the wartime defence of the docks. Saturdays 4-25 July 2026, 2pm-3.15pm. All ages. Ticketed from GBP 11.
