About This Event
A free, film-based installation uncovering hidden stories of disability within London Museum’s collections. Inspired by the Second World War memories of Betty Harmasz, who danced with low vision, and Betty Phillips, on what happens when a blind dancer takes the lead. It features artist Mentor Chico’s paintings of 1990s London nightlife through the lens of disability and migration, and radio, TV and nightclub legend Mik Scarlet on navigating London’s nightlife as a wheelchair user since the 1980s. Ten disabled co-producers imagine their dream nightclub – a space with no access barriers. On now until 4 October 2026, 10am-5pm. All ages. Free.
