One of our favorite books about London is S*it London – Portrait of a City on the Edge by Patrick Dalton. It’s a fun an irreverent look at the realities of modern life in London.

And we love a good laugh here in Londontopia HQ.

So, we were very excited to get a review copy of Rude London – Snapshots of a City With Its Pants Down, the rousing follow up to Patrick’s last book. Rude London puts everything on the table on the cover, where it features a naked man rollerblading over a London bridge, with a conveniently places ‘More Inside’ Icon.

I love a good rude joke and this book is filled with them. It features over 130 pictures of funny pictures taken all over London from the nicest areas to the not so nice areas.

Now this book is not for the faint of heart – there are many rude images in the book – including the aforementioned picture of a man’s gentleman sausage. But that doesn’t make the book not funny.

If you want a good laugh at London’s expense, this book is for you. The book is for sales in the UK and the USA (where it was just released).

You can keep up with Patrick’s latest pictures of the humorous side of London on his website. http://shitlondon.co.uk/.
