Mona Loser at Southwark Playhouse Borough

Workshop performances of Mona Loser, a new musical with an original pop score by British writing duo Kit Buchan and Jim Barne, run at Southwark Playhouse Borough from 2 to 5 September 2026. The pair are behind the eight-time Tony-nominated Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), and the show is directed by Tony-nominee Tim Jackson (Merrily We Roll Along). The cast includes Ako Mitchell (Mean Girls, Once on This Island), Annabel Marlow (Six) and Carla Dixon-Hernandez (Something Rotten!). A rare early look at a new British musical from a fast-rising creative team. Tickets are on sale now from £25 (about $33).
