About This Event
The beloved story of Emma and Dexter comes to the West End. One Day – The Musical, the stage adaptation of David Nicholls’ bestselling novel, runs at the Garrick Theatre from 17 November 2026 to 14 March 2027, following its acclaimed world premiere at Edinburgh’s Royal Lyceum Theatre.
Jamie Muscato and Sharon Rose reprise their roles as Dexter and Emma, the star-crossed pair whose lives we revisit on the same day — St Swithin’s Day, 15 July — every year for two decades. Adapted for the stage by David Greig, with music and lyrics by Abner and Amanda Ramirez of Johnnyswim and additional material by Freya Catrin Smith, the production is directed by Max Webster (Life of Pi, The Importance of Being Earnest).
Tickets start at £30 (about $40). Running time approximately 2 hours 40 minutes including one interval; age guidance 12+. The Garrick Theatre is at 2 Charing Cross Road, a short walk from Leicester Square, in the heart of Theaterland.
