About This Event
The inaugural Guest Editor program at the new London Museum, London Tastes celebrates the city’s rich and ever-evolving food culture from November 2026 to August 2027. Co-curated by Ruby Tandoh (All Consuming, Cook As You Are) and Jonathan Nunn (founder of the food publication Vittles), and sponsored by Sainsbury’s — whose first shop opened on Drury Lane over 150 years ago — it features a spotlight exhibition across two display pavilions exploring the changing appetites of a global food city.
Crossing London’s neighborhoods from Enfield to Park Royal and Southall to Walworth, it takes in Covent Garden market, Brick Lane, the city’s traditional pie and mash shops, chicken shop culture, and the markets, manufacturers, retailers and artisans behind London’s food scene. The program threads through the museum’s Our Time social space — its Tuesday Tea Club, Dinner Club, Shared Late Nights and monthly House Party with nightclub-in-residence fabric. Free to visit.
