Life at Hertford House: Free Lunchtime Talks

Before it was a museum, Hertford House was home to five generations of a British aristocratic family: the first four Marquesses of Hertford, and Sir Richard Wallace, the illegitimate son of the 4th Marquess. This series of free fifteen-minute lunchtime talks runs through August and covers everyday life in the house, including the royal guests who visited. The 24 August session is a free hour-long online talk on the lives of the collection’s founders. Talks begin at 1pm. Free.
