About This Event
Soviet-inspired propaganda posters were shown at Hertford House during the Second World War, and this two-day workshop takes them as its starting point. Artist Adam Hogarth leads participants through the bold colors, dynamic compositions and striking graphic forms that defined Soviet imagery in the display The Wallace Collection at War, before they produce their own designs using linocut and mono screenprint techniques. Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October, 10:30am to 4:30pm, in the Learning Studio. Tickets £135 to £145 (roughly $180 to $195).
