What is Londontopia?
Londontopia is a new website dedicated to all things London from the folks who brought you the Anglophile website Anglotopia.net.
The goal of this site is to create a new community of people who all share a passion around London – whether it’s tourists or locals – we’d like to see everything covered here.
What is a Londonphile?
The strict definition of a Londonphile is someone who loves London and everything about it.
Who Are We?
Londontopia is run by me (Jonathan Thomas) and my lovely wife Jackie. I’ve been obsessed with Great Britain since I was about 8 years old. I can’t explain it. I don’t understand it. I love everything about Great Britain. I know I’m not alone in this, so I decided to start this website so that fellow Londonphiles could gather and discuss what they love most: London.
Londontopia and it’s sister site Anglotopia are fast growing websites that have changed dramatically since they were originally launched in 2007. The site has become more successful than I ever imagined.
I spend a large part of my life reading books about Britain (and other Anglophone countries), watching British TV and planning my next trip. Long term, my lovely wife and I would like to live in England for a few years. As we work towards that, I can use this blog as a creative and informational outlet to help achieve or dreams.
