Hi I love Terminal 5. I head straight for the Piccadilly Line , flash my Oyster card (four pounds gets used up) and I hop out at Green Park station and then take a short and cheap taxi ride. The H’row Express to Paddington is very expensive by the time you add a huge taxi fare to any fairly decent part of central London, which for me personally means Kensington, Knightsbridge, Mayfair or Westminster. I am tee’d off about one thing. On my way in to see the Royal Wedding I spotted a fancy little brochure on a rack in arrivals urging me to buy all my royal wedding souvenirs on the way home at H’row. Guess what ? There were none. Well yes, there was one, a giant box of biscuits with an engagement photo. Last time I’ll fall for that misinformation.
