This is fun. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay during the Royal Wedding, you’ll have the opportunity to camp out on Clapham Common.

From Metro:

Clapham Common is one of the capital’s most famous parks and the south-west London site will be awash with tents, union flags and bunting as it is transformed into Camp Royale for three days.

Happy campers will be able to watch events unfold on a giant screen while sipping on free Yorkshire tea. There will be prizes for the best-dressed guests and tents with the most creative interior design. The campsite will run from Thursday, April 28 to Sunday, May 1, at a cost of £75 per person for the three nights. National Express will run special coaches from 35 locations to the site.

The camp will have 24-hour security and will boast hot showers, toilet facilities, a dedicated quiet zone, a family zone and a “glamping” zone for luxury campers and tipis.

If you don’t have somewhere to stay yet and will be in London for the Royal Wedding, this would be a lot of fun and affordable!
