The Best Things To Do In London

May 13, 2021 By Jonathan

Whether you live in Australia, America, or Greece, you’ll likely want to visit the United Kingdom at some point in the future. Doing so will allow you to learn more about the history of the country. In addition to this, you’ll be able to meet all types of interesting people. The city is overflowing with history, beauty, and culture. Before booking your trip, you’ll want to go above and beyond to make sure that you plan your trip. Which attractions are going to be best for you and your companions?

London has plenty of great activities to enjoy. Readers will learn more about London’s top attractions below.

The British Museum

First and foremost, tourists should consider stopping by The British Museum. The facility is great for people who want to learn more about the history of the country. The museum is located in the Bloomsbury area of the city. It is a public institution that is dedicated to art, culture, and human history. During your visit, you’ll be able to explore eight million works. Furthermore, the museum is historical. It was established in 1753 making it one of the oldest museums in the world.

It opened to the public in 1759 and has gone through numerous expansions over the years. The museum is home to many great departments. For instance, you’ll want to check out the Department of the Middle East, Department of Prints and Drawings, and the Department of Asia. Either way, tourists will not be disappointed by their visit.

Tower Of London

Who doesn’t love learning more about history? Tourists who want to learn more about London history should visit the Tower of London. The historic castle can be found on the north bank of the River Thames. William the Conqueror built the town in 1078. During that time, it was considered a symbol of oppression. It is estimated that the tower received nearly 3 million visitors in 2019. It has always played a vital role in English history. After restorations, the tower was opened to tourists.

During your visit, you can get an up-close look at the Crown Jewels. Plus, the tower is amazing in its own right. All tourists should visit this facility.

London Eye

Once you’ve finished playing online kaszinó at your motel, you’ll want to travel to the London Eye or the Millennium Wheel. The observation wheel receives more than 3 million visitors each year. In addition to this, you’ve likely spotted this amazing attraction in many movies and television shows. It is near Lambeth so it shouldn’t be too far from your motel. The attraction opened officially on December 31, 1999. Since then, it has become one of the hottest attractions in London. Anyone visiting the area will need to stop by and check it out.

Tower Bridge

Besides taking advantage of the LV BET options, you’ll want to visit London’s Tower Bridge. The suspension bridge is one of the best attractions in the area. It was built between 1886 and 1894. The bridge is located near the Tower of London and crosses the River Thames. It is one of London’s most famous symbols. It is one of the several bridges owned by the Bridge House Estates.

It has a height of 213 feet. During your visit, you’ll want to snap a few pictures of this magnificent architectural marvel.

Jack The Ripper Tour

Jack the Ripper is a notorious London serial killer that claimed the lives of about five women working in the prostitution industry. The murders took place in London’s East End between August and November 1888. London’s finest detectives investigated the murders to no avail. The serial killer was never identified.

One London detective, now retired, believed Carl Feigenbaum, a sailor from Germany, was responsible for the East End murders. In 1894, Feigenbaum was put to death for the murder of a female from New York. Walter Sickert, a famous artist from Victoria, was also believed to be Jack the Ripper. Again, detectives never produced solid evidence to back up these suspicions.

London visitors can explore the East End where Jack the Ripper murdered about five female prostitutes. Tickets are fairly affordable and available to all London visitors. Private tours are also available with advance notice.
