London Alert: Christmas Events at the London Transport Museum

Oct 26, 2017 By Jonathan

The London Transport Museum is one of our favorite museums in London and they’re getting into the holiday spirit this year with a ton of Christmas related events.

Here are the details:

All aboard for Festive Fun at London Transport Museum from 1 December 2017 until5 January 2018.
Families can visit Santa’s Secret Hideaway or track him down in one of the Museum’s historic vehicles, as well as enjoy storytelling sessions and make simple origami Christmas tree decorations to take home.
Get into the festive spirit with a special Christmas Lights bus tour in central London on selected dates as a storyteller brings a little magic to the streets of London.
London Transport Museum’s festive celebrations start on 1 December 2017 and run until 5 January 2018 with:
  • Santa’s secret hideaway, a cosy place full of toys and books from Santa’s workshop
  • Christmas Poster display – a selection of Christmas posters from the Museum’s iconic archive collection
  • Hot chocolate bar in the Museum’s Lower Deck ice cream cafe. Visitors can create bespoke hot chocolate
On selected dates the festivities continue with:
  • Santa selfies – track down Santa, grab a selfie and claim a free badge to show everyone that you have found him(1 December to 23 December from 10:30 – 16:30)
  • Drop in for family origami tree decoration making activities – perfect for keeping little hands busy(1 December to 20 December, all day)
