This is a nice treat for a Friday. A beautiful new video of London that was surprisingly shot on an iPhone 6. I didn’t know the video quality was so good and I love the timelapse/hyperlapse effect. The song is rather good too.

About the video:

This was filmed and edited entirely within the iPhone 6, using lots of slow motion and hyperlapse effects. We think it might be the first to be done entirely in the phone itself, without using external equipment or software. We shot it in and around London, and on some of the commuter lines leading in and out of Waterloo Station. It was edited mostly during long train journeys to work (4G at no extra cost certainly helped – thanks to http://www.three.co.uk/ who supported us in developing the vid). It’s kind of a tribute to all the other weary commuters out there. We feel your pain.

The band is called The Grizzly Folk and the song is called Friday Night and it’s available on iTunes.

  1. Makes me homesick for London. I’m usually there this time of year. This video captures what it’s like perfectly. Love the video and the song is perfect.

    • As the songwriter and video maker, I just wanted to say thanks for your comments, Brad. It’s great that the song/video found an appreciative audience.
