It is often said that Christmas Day is the emptiest day in London. The streets are empty of people as they celebrate the holiday indoors. The entire city shuts down.

It looks a lot like this video from Miasmatic where they’ve created a rather creepy video of all the iconic sites in London, except without people in them.

  1. I’ve driven through London on Christmas day a couple of years ago. While it is true that nothing was open there were a surprising amount of people walking around.

  2. Eerie, yet very clever. Don’t know how it was done. Only time I remember streets being that empty was during the funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales. All the papers printed photos of deserted streets.
