It is often said that Christmas Day is the emptiest day in London. The streets are empty of people as they celebrate the holiday indoors. The entire city shuts down.
It looks a lot like this video from Miasmatic where they’ve created a rather creepy video of all the iconic sites in London, except without people in them.

I’ve driven through London on Christmas day a couple of years ago. While it is true that nothing was open there were a surprising amount of people walking around.
Eerie, yet very clever. Don’t know how it was done. Only time I remember streets being that empty was during the funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales. All the papers printed photos of deserted streets.
You must say LADY DIANA, she isn’t princess of Wales.
