Tune Hotels is to open its second UK budget hotel in January. The new Tune hotel, with 183 en-suite bedrooms, will be near Liverpool Street station in London.
Each room has a bed and hot shower as the basic. Guests can then pay for extras such as a towel, shampoo, shower gel, soap, entertainment packages and internet access.
The bedrooms comprise 100 double-bedded with a window and 52 without, 11 twin rooms with windows, seven without and 13 special needs rooms. Tune Hotel Liverpool Street will be air-conditioned and 24-hour light refreshments will be available in the reception. It will also operate a 72-hour cancellation policy. Room prices start from £35 a night.
Due to open on 4 January, this will be London’s second Tune Hotel. The first is in the Westminster district. Tune Hotels are a Malaysian-based budget, limited-service hotel chain.
Tune Hotel Liverpool Street is near Spitalfields Market, one of London’s oldest markets which is held in one of the city’s finest Victorian market halls. There is a fast rail link to Stansted airport from Liverpool Street station.
