About this London Attraction
The View from the Shard is one of London’s most popular attractions, drawing crowds from all over the world. It’s not hard to see why – the stunning 360 degree views of the city from the top of Europe’s tallest tower are truly breathtaking.
Getting to the Shard is easy. It’s located right next to London Bridge train station, so it’s easily accessible by public transport. If you’re coming from central London, you can take the Jubilee or Northern line to London Bridge station and then walk just a few minutes to the Shard. Alternatively, you can take a bus or even walk if you’re up for a bit of exercise.
Once you arrive at the Shard, you’ll need to purchase tickets to access the viewing deck. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the ticket desk on the day of your visit. It’s worth noting that tickets can be quite pricey, but the experience is definitely worth it. Plus, there are often deals and discounts available if you book in advance or visit during off-peak hours.
When you make your way up to the viewing deck, you’ll be treated to stunning views of all of London. You’ll be able to see iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the London Eye, as well as the winding Thames River and the sprawling cityscape. The views are truly breathtaking and it’s not hard to spend hours up there just taking it all in.
If you’re looking for the best time to visit the Shard, we recommend going at dusk. This is when the city is at its most beautiful, with the sun setting over the Thames and the twinkling lights of the city coming to life. It’s a truly magical experience and one that you won’t soon forget.
When you’re planning your visit to the Shard, there are a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, it can get quite crowded up there, especially during peak times. If you want to avoid the crowds, we recommend visiting during off-peak hours or booking a fast-track ticket to skip the queues.
Secondly, it can get quite chilly up there, especially if you’re visiting in the winter months. Make sure to bring a warm jacket or coat and wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be doing a lot of walking and standing.
Finally, make sure to take plenty of photos! The views from the Shard are truly spectacular and you’ll want to capture every moment. There are plenty of photo opportunities up there, so make sure to bring your camera or smartphone and snap away.
All in all, the View from the Shard is a must-visit attraction for anyone visiting London. The views are truly breathtaking and it’s an experience that you won’t soon forget. So, whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned Londoner, make sure to add the Shard to your list of things to do – you won’t regret it!

Londontopia's Review
One of London’s newest and coolest attractions. It’s very expensive and very hard to get to compared to other central London attractions. But the views from the top of the tallest building in Europe are simply incredible. I recommend doing it at least once. But also sign up on their website for occasional offers or discounted dates. While expensive, they offer discounts all the time.
