Londoners are statistically more likely than any other region in the UK to daydream during work hours, with almost a third admitting to letting their minds wander for up to several times a day.

When asked how long we think we spend daydreaming during working hours, a staggering 38% admitted to spending more than three hours a day in ‘dreamland’, according to the study from Travel Republic.

Is London life getting the better of us? The research suggests we might be overworked and missing our loved ones, as Londoners daydream about going on holiday the most and almost half (47%) are daydreaming of a family getaway.  In need of a break, they most desire an exotic beach holiday (65%).

The research comes as Travel Republic releases its new interactive tool – The Holiday Generator, helping holiday hungry Brits to discover their ideal holiday destination whether that be with friends, family or partners.

Christian Poole, Director at Travel Republic said: “With Travel Republic’s breadth of choice, we know customers can create the perfect holiday to wherever their imagination takes them.
