About This Property
Hazlitt’s is a unique and charming hotel located in the heart of London’s fashionable Soho district. This boutique hotel is situated in a row of Georgian townhouses that date back to the 18th century, and it’s named after William Hazlitt, an influential essayist of the Romantic era.
The hotel’s interior design pays homage to the building’s history, with antique furnishings, oil paintings, and wooden paneling throughout. The rooms are individually decorated with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furnishings, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere that feels more like a private residence than a hotel.
There are 30 rooms and suites at Hazlitt’s, each with its own unique personality. Some of the rooms have four-poster beds, while others have claw-foot tubs or working fireplaces. All of the rooms have modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.
One of the highlights of Hazlitt’s is its honesty bar, which is stocked with a wide selection of spirits, wines, and beers. Guests are welcome to help themselves and simply write down what they’ve consumed in a notebook provided by the hotel. The honesty bar is located in the hotel’s cozy library, which is the perfect spot to relax with a book or catch up on work.
Hazlitt’s also has a private dining room that can accommodate up to 12 guests. The room is decorated with antique furnishings and oil paintings, creating a unique and intimate atmosphere that’s perfect for a special occasion or business meeting. The hotel’s chef prepares a seasonal and locally sourced menu that’s tailored to each guest’s preferences.
Another standout feature of Hazlitt’s is its location. The hotel is situated in the heart of Soho, just steps away from some of London’s best restaurants, bars, and theaters. It’s also within walking distance of popular attractions such as Oxford Street, Covent Garden, and the British Museum.
In summary, Hazlitt’s is a unique and charming hotel that combines history, luxury, and comfort in a way that’s truly special. It’s the perfect choice for travelers who appreciate the finer things in life and want to experience London’s vibrant cultural scene in style.

Londontopia's Review
This is our favorite hotel in London, we now stay here on all our trips. It's a small hotel, with only 30 rooms, so it's important to book ahead. Try to request a room that's not facing Frith Street, as it can get quite loud at night on the weekends. Perfect location, lots to eat and see and do within walking distance. Staff are always professional and helpful with requests. One time they managed to get us tickets to a sold out London show. Beautiful old Georgian building. Cannot wait to stay here again.
