One of my favorite London guidebooks is 24 Hours in London. It’s a guide to things to do during every hour of the day in London. It’s chock full of fun things to see and do.

Now, there’s a great little iPhone app, so you can have it in the palm of your hand.

From the app description:

Every hour of every day, London is packed full of fantastic, unusual things to do. The trick is to know what’s on, when.

This innovative and new application gives a rundown of one of the greatest cities in the world, hour by hour, listing London’s best kept secrets, plus an innovative spin on old favourites.

Containing all contact details and websites where applicable, its chatty style makes it perfect for both visitors to the UK and locals who want to learn more about their home town.

I’ve played around with the app, and I love it. I’m definitely going to use on my next trip to London later this month.

My only complaint about the app is that it’s not optimized for the retina display on the iPhone 4, but that doesn’t detract from it’s usefulness.

The app costs a reasonable $1.99.
