Exciting news. We have decided to continue the London Annual for 2023. As we’ve done in the past, we’re opening up pre-orders today to gauge demand overall, and it will release in October, just in time for the holiday season, and the travel season for 2023.

The biggest component of the London Annual for 2023 will be the events and exhibitions section, compiled by Laura Porter. This is your complete guide to all the special exhibitions, West End Plays and Musicals, and other major cultural events taking place in London during 2023. It usually takes up 1/3 of the entire publication!

The rest will be a mix of feature articles, guides, photo essays and more – all dedicated to London. This year, I will be returning to London for the first time since 2018, so you can expect several articles from my subsequent research.

The plan is to produce 250 copies, as we did for our Crown & Glory special publication. It will be the same format – 128 full-color pages, dedicated to all things London. It will contain NO ADVERTISING! It will measure 8.5×11 inches, so it’s a substantial publication!

While many fans of London returned there in 2022, 2023 will be the first full year that tourists will be back in London. We want to help you get ready. London has changed since you were last there, and the 2023 London Annual is your complete guidebook to feeling at home in this ‘new’ London.

For launch weekend we’re offering a special offer of FREE SHIPPING to the USA and Canada, this offer ends on Tuesday, July 5th. The cost is $24.99, all in. It will be printed and shipped in October. It will make a great companion to our forthcoming book London Tube 101, but if you order both, you’ll get them in October together.

In the 2023 London Annual, we will provide:

  • 128 full-color pages, 8 1/2 by 11 inches
  • Special Events and Exhibitions to see in 2023
  • Which attractions have closed
  • What attractions have opened
  • Articles on London history
  • Articles on London Culture
  • Exploration of the Elizabeth Line
  • Exploration of Covent Garden
  • Exploration of Moorgate Abandoned Tube Station
  • And much more!

In addition to all this, we’ll have some lovely feature articles to help transport you to London and give some insight into history you may not have heard about before. It will be a mix of travel information and long-read articles about London, its culture and history.

For this to work, we need to sell as many of these in advance as possible. We plan to produce 250, and the goal is to sell out. I urge you to please order now as we likely won’t have spares when these ship in October.

If you enjoy reading Anglotopia/Londontopia and want to get travel ready for 2023, please consider buying the London Annual, proceeds will help keep Anglotopia going.

You can pre-order your copy here. It’s very important that as many people as possible pre-order.
