We’re slightly behind schedule but I’m happy to report that the 2nd Edition of Anglotopia’s Dictionary of British English is now officially published and available from most major book retailers in Print and eBook.
The new edition of the book features over 2,000 words of British English defined along with several sub-dictionaries and guides to British Culture (see full table of contents below).
This book has been in the works for quite some time and is a huge improvement over the previous edition (which you can no longer buy). The new paperback is available from today and is shipping today (we’ll be spending this afternoon shipping out all the paperback pre-orders). The Special Hardcover is slightly delayed but we expect to ship in the next couple of weeks.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed words to the new dictionary as well as corrected us where we were wrong. Also a shout out to Laurence Brown (a certified Real British Person) from Lost in the Pond who copy edited the book and confirmed the definitions.
